Overview
In 1954, U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels and his new partner Chuck Aule travel to Ashecliffe Hospital, a psychiatric institution on the isolated Shutter Island, to investigate the disappearance of a female patient. As a powerful storm traps them on the island, Teddy uncovers disturbing secrets, conspiracies, and unsettling clues that force him to question his own memories and sanity.
