Overview
In the quiet rural village of Gokseong, a series of mysterious murders and violent illnesses begin shortly after the arrival of a mysterious Japanese stranger. Local police officer Jong-goo investigates the bizarre events as fear and superstition spread throughout the community. When his young daughter becomes afflicted by the same mysterious force, he must navigate a web of shamanic rituals, demonic possession, and deception to uncover the terrifying truth.
