Overview
Masterji, a retired schoolteacher living in a Mumbai housing society, refuses to accept a builder's offer to buy out the building when the other residents agree to leave. His quiet resistance puts him increasingly at odds with his neighbours, forcing the community to confront questions of money, loyalty, compromise, family and personal conviction.
