Overview
KGF Chapter 1 is a 2018 Indian Kannada-language period action film, the first installment in the KGF franchise, directed by Prashanth Neel. The movie tells the story of Rocky, a young man from the streets of Bombay, who rises to become a powerful figure in the criminal underworld, driven by his ambition to fulfill his mother's wish of becoming rich and powerful. He becomes entangled in the power struggle for the Kolar Gold Fields (KGF), a notorious gold mine with a history of exploitation.
