Overview
The film tells the true-life story of Paan Singh Tomar, an Indian Army soldier and seven-time national steeplechase champion. After retiring from the army, he returns to his village and becomes embroiled in a land dispute. Frustrated by the failure of the authorities to help him, he eventually turns to armed rebellion and becomes a feared dacoit in the Chambal Valley.
