Overview
Tom Hansen, a greeting-card writer who believes in true love, falls for his new co-worker Summer Finn. Although Summer does not believe in romantic relationships, the two begin a complicated relationship. Told nonlinearly across 500 days, the film follows Tom's memories of their romance, his hopes and disappointments, and his eventual realization about love, expectations, and moving forward.
