Overview
Bill Baker, an unemployed oil-rig worker from Stillwater, Oklahoma, travels to Marseille, France, to visit his imprisoned daughter, who has been convicted of murdering her college roommate. Convinced of her innocence, Bill undertakes his own investigation in a foreign country, forging unexpected relationships while confronting guilt, redemption, and the limits of a father's devotion.
