Overview
Veteran Los Angeles detective Will Dormer is sent to a small town in Alaska to investigate the murder of a teenage girl. While pursuing the prime suspect under the region's perpetual summer daylight, Dormer accidentally kills his partner in a dense fog. Wracked by guilt and unable to sleep, he becomes entangled in a psychological battle with the killer, who knows the truth about the shooting.
