Overview
Set in an unnamed West African country torn apart by civil war, the film follows Agu, a young boy whose peaceful childhood is shattered when rebel forces attack his village. Forced to join a brutal militia led by a charismatic Commandant, Agu is transformed from an innocent child into a soldier, confronting the devastating effects of war, violence, and the loss of humanity.
