Overview
Will Hunting, a brilliant but troubled young janitor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), secretly possesses extraordinary mathematical talent. After assaulting a police officer, he avoids prison by agreeing to study mathematics under Professor Gerald Lambeau and attend therapy sessions with psychologist Sean Maguire. Through their relationship, Will confronts his painful past, emotional barriers, and fears about love, friendship, and realizing his true potential.
